Located on a small, quiet campus in central Phoenix, New Casa de Amigas (Casa) is a residential treatment center for women dealing with substance abuse dependence. Casa's purpose is to address women's chemical (drug) problems and related issues by empowering them to reclaim and redevelop their lives. Casa de Amigas recognizes that each woman must choose recovery “for” herself, but will also find it difficult to attain “by” herself.
The program's residential component is followed by 12 sessions of Aftercare (one night a week) in order to complete the program. The women can choose to continue in Aftercare longer than the 12 sessions and are more than welcome to attend for as long as they wish.
The New Casa de Amigas is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation operated by a small staff of professionals and volunteer board of directors. We are a licensed Level II Behavioral Health residential facility with licensed counselors, behavioral health technicians and paraprofessionals. In addition, qualified lecturers are employed to conduct other group sessions. Our corporate charter was granted in 1963, and we have been serving women with substance dependence problems since then.

I found hope, support and love when I thought I didn???t deserve it. Now I???ve rebuilt my life, my family and my heart. I???m a very strong, confident and beautiful woman. I have things back in my life I haven???t had in years. So for me Casa de Amigas was the answer.”
